Full membership is by Invitation only. Full MYSC members must be professional employed as a Cinematographer for a period of at least ten years experience of skills. Full Members can professionally append the suffix MYSC after their names.

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY This applicant must be recognized as a working Cinematographer and or/ Camera operator for a minimum period of 3 years and /or a period that is acceptable to the membership committee.

The application may also qualify for Associate membership by successfully completing professional training as one of these three camera team roles via post-secondary educational programs accepted to the membership committee.

The applicant must be enrolled in a related cinematography program at a post-secondary institution in Malaysia.
